We’re helping patients ask questions.

That’s PatientPilot’s mission: Educate and empower patients so they can better navigate the healthcare system and receive better care. It means providing patients with tools and guidance that enable them to be better communicators and self-advocates. Patient empowerment starts with asking doctors good questions.

PatientPilot is a nonprofit charitable and educational organization that develops and distributes digital applications and other materials that “coach” patients on what questions to ask their doctors and help patients to really understand their illnesses and treatment options. Informed and engaged patients lead to better outcomes, lower costs and higher patient satisfaction.

senior doc with couplePatientPilot aims to help all patients regardless of their financial status but with a particular emphasis on underserved populations such as low-income, low-health literacy patients.

PatientPilot works with partners and sponsors to develop and distribute customized content and specialized versions of the PatientPilot app to patients.
